Dunham Does It Again

William Dunham has added to his collection of wonderful expositions on math with The Calculus Gallery: Masterpieces from Newton to Lebesgue. Though for this one you’ll need more than high school algebra—rather a good understanding of calculus—for those with the inclination and background the rewards are great.

2005 Pan-Mass Challenge

Made it: rode in the PMC last weekend from Wellesley to Bourne to Provincetown, arriving in good shape. The weather was great; perhaps a bit warm, but there was a light tailwind on route 6 in Truro, a first in my experience.
